A father and his sons walking a field together on a St. Hubert Foundation hunt

Stronger men, stronger families, stronger Church.

We help Catholic men become better men, better husbands and fathers, and better disciples of Christ — through the hunt, the sacraments, and real fraternity. Your gift is what puts them there.

Your Gift In The Field

What your money actually does

Holy Mass in the lodge — Namibia 2025

$50

Outfits a man for one day

Boots, gear, provisions, and licenses — the practical cost that keeps a working father from having to say no to a day in the field.

$2,500

Covers a priest's travel

Flights, lodging, and transport so the chaplain can reach the men, hear their confessions, offer Mass under open sky, and walk with them.

$6,500

Keeps a priest in the field for a week

A full week of chaplaincy: daily Mass, confession, spiritual direction, and the sacramental presence that makes this more than a hunt.

$6,500

Sends a man on a week-long retreat

A full scholarship for a man whose budget, not his heart, is what stands between him and a week of formation, fraternity, and the hunt.

Stateside retreats run closer to $500 per day. Every gift helps close that gap.

$6,500 sends a man on a week-long retreat who could not otherwise go.

Our Mission

The hunt offers something rare: time away from distraction, in creation, with other men.

The Fraternity of St. Hubert forms Catholic men through hunting retreats, fellowship, prayer, and the celebration of Holy Mass — recovering patience, courage, self-discipline, stewardship, and sacrifice, and carrying them home to families, parishes, and communities.

The St. Hubert Foundation exists to make that accessible and sustainable. Your charitable support provides scholarships for men who otherwise could not participate, sustains the priests and spiritual formation that make these retreats possible, and expands where Catholic men can go.

We do not promise safety, comfort, or convenience. We promise an adventure with virtuous men, and Christ Himself in the Blessed Sacrament.

Sanctus Hubertus, Ora Pro Nobis

From Our 2025 Namibian Retreat
“We experienced God in nature, Mass as the sun rose over the mountains, reconciliation in a hunting lodge, and hours of conversation around the campfire with like-minded men. This is more than an outdoor adventure — it is a way to experience God’s providence in nature, receive the sacraments in the wild, and create lifelong friendships with good men.”

Jeff Heinrich — Inaugural Retreat, Namibia 2025

“I did not anticipate the depth of friendship cultivated in such a short time. I am eternally grateful for this experience.” — Jason, Namibia 2025
